The road to obtaining permits for PV plants in Italy is never straightforward! 

We are happy to announce that we have finally obtained the PAS for the first advanced agrivoltaic project developed by our team… about 9 MW and an excellent STMG! 

A project with quite a history:

• Started at full speed with an enthusiastic municipality and a collaborative landowner 

• Subject to environmental screening because another project suddenly emerged, leading to a cumulative effect 

• Blocked by the Lombardy region’s resolution on mixed companies 

• Pushed forward because, with great stubbornness, we have decided to create the mixed company 

• Slowed down by various unforeseen events, not least the risk of further regulatory changes under discussion (although in the meantime, the Lombardy resolution has been abolished!) 

This demonstrates that with perseverance, a collaborative approach among all stakeholders, and the right mindset focused on solving problems and handling uncertainties, a great result can be achieved. 

The municipality is satisfied both with the compensatory measures and with the presence of a plant that ensures the continuity of existing crops.
